Some good birthday deals.
You can receive a free dessert with the purchase of one entree at Black Angus Steakhouse just by signing up for their Prime Club. Not only will you get the free coupon for one dessert, but you will also be given a free steak dinner on your birthday, as long as it is preceded by one adult entree. You can sign up for Black Angus Steakhouse’s Prime Club here.
The terms and conditions for the Prime Club state that the free dessert coupon is only good for one use, and that the free birthday steak dinner only works for the member’s first birthday after signing up. It isn’t all bad, though. On following birthdays, members will still receive a Cowboy Cookie after purchasing any entree. Additionally, it states that holidays such as “Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Thanksgiving” are days when Prime Club offers are invalid. Be careful to not use their offers on these days!
Free desserts, steak dinners, and cookies? What is there to lose?
A free meal.
Rubio’s Coastal Grill, a California-based Mexican Grill chain, is offering a free taco for anyone who brings this coupon to any participating locations. You can either print it out, or download it onto your smartphone and show it to an employee. No membership is required for this freebie. This offer is available until May 9, 2017.
The coupon states that it is only valid once, and that they allow “one coupon per person, per visit”. You cannot pair this with any other offer, either. But hey, its still a free taco. And you can’t beat FREE!
If you sign up for Schlotsky’s “Lotz4Me” mobile app, you will recieve a free small “Original”. The “Original” is a sandwich containing “Lean smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, and melted cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses layered with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and our signature dressing on our toasted Sourdough bun”, according to the official website.
The app allows you to place orders online, and they will be available to pick up when you arrive at the restaurant. You are also eligible for special offers, deals, and rewards, such as getting $7.00 off after your 7th visit. If you do not own a smartphone, Schlotsky’s official website has a link whereupon clicking it will allow you to sign up for their rewards program using your email.
A code is provided in the app that will allow you to redeem your free sandwich reward. The website states that all you have to do is “Tap to redeem and show the cashier your redemption code”. You must be present at a Schlotsky’s location before redeeming your freebie.
May 9, 2017 is Free Cone Day for Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Shop. On this day, visit any participating Haagen-Dazs locations to receive your free ice cream cone. You can only request one between 4pm and 8 pm, though.
The official website states that guests have the choice between a free sugar cone, cup, or cake cone. It states that the “Free Cone Day offer may not be combined with any other offer or used as a discount on other items”. Additionally, keep in mind that each person is limited to only one kiddie scoop when receiving their free cone. But hey, it’s free!
If you’re at a participating Haagen-Dazs location for an actual order, however, the website also mentions that those “who want to purchase items may bypass the line of people who are waiting for free scoops”, so no worries there.
National Sandwich Day (yes, that’s a thing”) falls on November 3 this year, and Subway has a very charitable deal to make the most of it. They are offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal for anyone who purchases a sub sandwich and a drink. Once you make your purchase, they will allow you to order another sub for FREE!
But not only will you get your free sub, but once you take the deal, Subway themselves will donate a sub to Feeding America, the US Hunger Relief Organization!
This deal can be used at ANY Subway location.

A little something for you cheese fans out there.
As you probably already know, Wisconsin is known as the “Cheese State”, “State of Cheese”, or any other variation of that. Simply put, it’s known for its cheeses. With that in mind, it shouldn’t surprise you that there is an official guide to cheeses from Wisconsin called “Wisconsin Cheese: A Guide to Cheeses from Wisconsin”. You can order it online at www.EatWisconsinCheese.com. Let’s take a look inside.
It opens tri-fold style and is small enough to be pinned on any fridge for later reference. It doesn’t look like much at first, being fairly small, but once you open it you are greeted by a long list of many different cheeses.
The list is alphabetized starting with Anejo Enchilado Cheese and ending with Swiss & Baby Swiss Cheese. Under a very delicious looking picture of each cheese, there is a short description of what the cheese may feel or taste like. For example, Anejo Enchilado Cheese is described as “A bright, reddish-orange exterior with a firm, ivory interior. Texture is semi-soft, almost firm and slightly crumbly. It offers a full, strong, slightly salty flavor.” Can’t you just taste it already. I think you can tell by now that whoever was writing the descriptions for these cheeses was very well educated in the field, and probably enjoyed taste-testing them, too.
For some cheeses, there is even a little tidbit of history for those who are curious. Other cheeses, such as Colby Cheese, are labelled as a “Wisconsin Original”.
On the outside flaps, there are various tips for cheese enthusiasts, such as tips for cheese storage and cooking.
All in all, the Wisconsin Cheese Variety Guide is a neat little booklet to have on hand when you’re curious for a little info on cheeses. And the best part? It’s FREE! To get your Wisconsin Cheese Variety Guide, just visit their official website and fill out the form.
Here’s some good news for those of you who don’t know where to take your kids to eat on Sunday. Every Sunday in the month of September, 2016, Chipotle Mexican Grill is allowing you to get one free kids meal with the purchase of a regular bowl, burrito, taco, or salad (kids can also get an activity sheet to keep them occupied). This deal is only valid for kids 12 and under. The site states that the offer must be redeemed at the same time it is offered, and it is not valid for orders that are catered. It also states that the offer “may not be combined with other offers; additional restrictions may apply.”
A kids order consists of a small quesadilla or two tacos, as well as various sides and drinks, and fruit.
You can also read about the offer on Chipotle’s official website. What do you think of this order? Let us know in the comments!
