Free Complete Guide to Parental Controls

The Complete Guide to Parental Controls

The Complete Guide to Parental ControlsWhen I was young, the concept of “parental controls” consisted of just how much television we could watch. This was because broadcast standards were more conservative, and except for cop shows and westerns, the content was relatively family friendly. There was no need for a guide to parental controls.

However, times have changed. What was once considered unmentionable or taboo on radio and tv is now considered the norm. Even “family friendly” shows touch on topics that would make a parent from twenty years ago cringe or blush. But that’s not all. Now we have the Internet, and on the world wide web, anything is accessible to anyone at anytime, and almost anything goes. There is a need for a complete guide to parental controls. Now there is one, and it’s free.

From the description: “As a parent in the digital age, you probably have concerns about how your children use technology. While you can teach them good principles, it’s impossible to keep them away from every possible internet scam and all explicit content online on your own.

That’s where parental controls come in. If you’ve never taken advantage of these tools, you’ve got a lot to catch up on. Read on to find out everything you could want to know about parental controls. We’ll cover a bit about how they work, how to use the controls on specific devices, and offer some recommendations.”

Don’t wait until their unfettered access to things they aren’t ready for gets out of control. Get your Free Complete Guide to Parental Controls now.

Throughout the entire summer, KidsBowlFree.com is letting all kids register for two free bowling games each day as part of their Kids Bowl Free Program! The only thing to keep in mind is that the child must be in the age range of their respective participating bowling centers.

Two Free Museum Tickets for September 23rd

A free event for you and a friend.

On their official website, Smithsonian is offering a very special freebie for “Museum Day Live!” on Saturday, September 23rd. They are giving away two free museum tickets to any participating museums in your area.

To receive your tickets, first locate a museum in your area you would like to go to. You can use this link, which is also available on the Smithsonian website. Then on midnight Friday, August 25, you will be able to download the tickets through a link on the top. After clicking on the link, all that is left is to enter your information and the museum you desire to go to and the ticket “will appear on the next screen and be emailed to you”, according to the website. It also mentions that it is crucial to remember to save your ticket.

The deal itself only consists of a singular ticket, but that ticket grants admission for the holder and one other person, so it essentially counts as two. If you wish to bring in extra guests who do not have a ticket of their own, they will have to pay for admission. Also, the ticket will not work for parking, “special exhibits”, or the IMAX theater.

Keep in mind that only one ticket per email address is permitted. Once you choose the museum you want to attend, you cannot alter it. So choose wisely.

Will you be participating in “Museum Day Live!” on Saturday, September 23rd? Which museum will you go to? Let us know in the comments below!
